About 5 months ago, Google announced that any Gmail Accounts which hasn’t been used for about 2 years will be deleted. Well, there are a few exceptions to it. If the account has few videos on YouTube then it won’t get deleted.

Most people have more than one Google account. In most cases, they use only one account and forget about the others they created. But what if they need the other accounts that they created previously? This guide is exactly for those who forget their Gmail Accounts.

It seems that there’s only one way to find your Gmail Account back. All you have to do is to go to the “Find your email” page and enter the phone number or the recovery email that you linked to the Gmail account you searching for. Then it will show you all the Google accounts that are linked with the phone number or the Gmail account you entered.

Here’s how you can do it:

1: Go to find your Gmail Accounts page

Open your favorite browser and head to https://accounts.google.com/signin/v2/usernamerecovery. You’ll see the same interface as below. Now here all you have to do is enter any phone number or email address that you have.

If you do not have any recovery email or phone number connected to your email address then it’s unlikely to get find that unknown email address.

2: Enter the first and the last name

Here you have to enter your first and last name. You need to remember what was the name in your account that you’re trying to find out. Enter the details properly.

After that click on the Next button.

3: Verify the email

Google will ask you to verify that the recovery email that you used is really yours to prevent hacking. It will send you a verification code in your recovery Gmail account or phone number.

Click on the send button. After that go to your Gmail account mail. You can find that Google has sent you a verification code in your recovery Gmail account or the phone number you provided.

Copy the code and paste it and click Next to proceed.

4: Sign into the account

After the verification process has been completed, you can now see the accounts with the name having the recovery email or phone number linked with it.

Now you can click on the account and sign up. If you fail to remember your password, then you can click on ‘Forget Password’ and reset the password.
